Mrs. Helena de Assis, Secretary of the Unified European Left Group since 1996, died 25 September 2014. UEL Chair Tiny Kox recalled Helena’s life, her work for UEL as well as her long suffering, in the funeral mess in Strasbourg. PACE Secretary General Wojciech Sawicki also spoke.
